Salmon Arm RCMP responding to a possible break and enter at the city fairgrounds caught a person in the act of cleaning.

Advised of the break and enter around 10 a.m. on Monday, June 24, responding officers at the location of the incident found the doors tied shut from the inside, explained Const. Andrew Hodges in a media release.

Once inside, "police located a 31-year-old woman cleaning up a mess she'd made, and doing laundry," said Hodges. "The woman was arrested for break and enter, removed from the property, and later released with a future court date."
