The Town of Osoyoos is stepping up its restrictions on watering as of June 28.

The increased restrictions mean homes are now limited to watering just two days a week.

Properties in the Town of Osoyoos and in Rural Water Districts 8 and 9 are subject to the water restrictions.

Even number properties can water on Tuesdays and Saturdays, odd numbers on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The rest of the South Okanagan is currently under Stage 1 Water restrictions,

The same two-day restrictions and dates for homes applies to properties in the RDOS that use water systems managed by the regional district.

In Penticton residents of odd-numbered street addresses are currently allowed to water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, while even-numbered street addresses may irrigate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays only. No watering is allowed Mondays.
